Gion & Yasaka Jinga 3-hour
Lesson (L1)
Walk the streets of Gion where Geisha, Ochaya and Kubuki
flourished and make a stop at famous Yasaka Jinga. A
brief stop for tea at the end of the walk would be a
great time to talk more and show pictures.

Kinkakuji and Ryoanji 3-hour
Lesson (L2)
Head up towards the direction of Daimonji-yama to stroll
the manicured grounds of Kinkakuji and view Ryoanji's
world-renowned Zen rock garden. Discover whether or
not English has the necessary words to describe the
beauty of these incredible sights.

Shijo Shopping 3-hour
Lesson (L1)
Great conversation is sure to be found on Shijo-dori.
Start in Gion and head west to discover Takashimaya,
Nishiki Ichiba, Daimaru and much more. But don't forget,
shopping (and speaking English) is hard work, so have
lunch or tea along the way when you get tired.
